I got back from Orlando to visit it Disney World and Universal Studios. I had decided that the only souvenirs I would be buying would be postcards. Disney was a real challenge as few stores had any postcards and most of the ones they had were rather dour.
Still, this was better than Canada’s Wonderland, which at my last visit 3 months ago had zero postcards!
Universal Studios, on the other hand, was a delight. Most stores had postcards and their key theme areas and rides had awesome specialized postcards. I’ll feature them in subsequent posts.
But here is my favourite:
My only complaint about Universal’s postcards is that the back is all the same for every card (based on theme park). Here is the back:
Almost as good as a superhero postcard is getting to meet all these superheroes. We met all these with the exception of the Hulk (he doesn’t do so well with people). We talked to Wolverine about Canada, my daughter did some girl-power bonding with Storm and Rogue, and Captain America even let my kid hold his shield – a rare honour.
