I was recently at Universal Studios amusement park for the first time. My favourite attraction there was the Revenge of the Mummy ride.
The theming of the ride is excellent. The special effects are awesome and innovative. The ride itself is great and it is not a simulated ride (which I just blogged about not liking on my other blog).
The ride is inspired the equally thrilling and fun movies starring former Torontonian Brendan Fraser (he has a cameo on the ride show).
As thrilling as the movie and ride were, I was most excited to see a commemorative postcard at the obligatory post-ride gift shop:
They also had some impressive authentic-looking ancient Egyptian artefacts. But these costs hundreds or thousands and the postcard cost me about a buck! Another great pro for postcard collecting!
