I used to get the coolest postcards. I still get cool cards. But since my kid came around – she gets the coolest ones.
So I was particularly delighted when this 3D postcard arrived in my mailbox this week:
The postal system was particularly harsh on it (Greek austerity measures being what they are) and there were a few tears in it. But it is the second 3D postcard I’ve ever got mailed to me and the only one in the Collection of a building – let alone the ultimate building, the Acropolis.
A very exciting addition, indeed!
Here’s the back:
“Hi Glen, I thought you’d like one of these cards too. The ruins at Olympia were amazing. There were so many.”
I noticed that Greek austerity measures haven’t applied to their stamps – as they are decadently oversized.
