Recently, my family and I want to the best amusement park in Canada, Canada’s Wonderland. We had a great time, as my daughter discovered a love of roller coasters this year! The only disappointment were their dreadful mobile app (as I blogged about on my other blog, Webslinger) and their almost complete lack of postcards.
There was only one postcard to be found in the entire park – but what an incredible specimen it is! Behold:
I bought this for my kid as we need a postcard souvenir, of course – and this one is truly kickass!
It cost $4, which is probably the most I’ve ever paid for a postcard. But it promised to be “6D” which sounded impressive even if I had no idea what 6D meant. I asked a stranger on the bus ride home what he thought “6D” meant and he concluded – rightly, I suspect – that it is a 3D postcard that when you move it reveals another 3D image, hence 6D!
Leviathan is one of Canada’s Wonderland’s newest and greatest rides. My kid wasn’t tall enough to ride it yet, but she’s hyped for it. All the more so when we watched it win the honour of one of the top roller coasters in the world on the show Insane Coaster Wars.
