Fall is my favourite season – probably because all the other seasons in Ontario are so crappy (winter is too cold and wet, summer is too hot, humid, and smoggy, and spring doesn’t generally exist for more than 2 weeks). I love the leaves changing colours, the comfortable weather, and hopefully the end of hayfever soon.
In honour of glorious Fall, here’s a postcard offering a take on a common sight here in Ontario at this time of year:
I guess someone spiked the birdseed with Absolut vodka as that’s not the normal formation I see Canada geese fly in!
I got a stack of Absolut postcards from Ontario’s liquor store (the L.C.B.O.) but I never sent any as I think they are really clever. And the vodka isn’t bad either. So I’ll drink to Fall’s arrival!
