I get a lot of junk mail in my mailbox and usually don’t give them much regard. But I must admit when they look like postcards I am apt to give them a second look – and if they share my disdain for Canada’s cable TV companies, then they have my full attention.
So this item below that I recently received is one of my favourite promo postcards:
The front isn’t that great and looks like a standard, non-descript card mailer. I’m not convinced either that over-the-air HD antennae are that great as we had one and only got a handful of local channels. But I do love how this back of this mimics a postcard from a disgruntled customer (like me):
There’s not a Bully’s Lane in Toronto, but it surely is the symbolic address of Bell Canada. I’ve blogged on my other blog, Webslinger, of my horrors with Bell – see Dealing with Bell Canada is Like Having Broken Glass Ground Into My Eyes. But as much as I love to share my disdain for Bell (see also Blogging is the Best Revenge), I would never waste a perfectly good $0.74 stamp of a wapiti on them (but the stamp is of a BULL – very appropriate!).
