An exciting item arrived in the mail yesterday. It was the first of its kind for the Deltiology Deity collection:
It’s the first calendar postcard I’ve seen. It’s a great gimmick but it does date the postcard limiting its shelf life (and I’ve encountered postcards on the racks for decades).
Here’s the reverse side:
“Hola from Deia in Mallorca. It’s stunningly beautiful here. What you can’t see in the other postcard is that the sea is right behind the village. And that there’s an amazing cemetery at the very top of the village with sweeping views of the sea and really high mountains.”
