I know gimmick postcards are a shameless ploy to get people to spend their money. And I love them!
I have some fine postcard gimmick specimens. They come in various odd shapes and sizes, textures and designs, but the one below is the most odd and original. I’ve never encountered any others like this:
Can you tell what it is?
Hints: it’s 23.5 cm. long by 10 cm. wide, it’s made of soft foam, and note the snaps on the sides. The flip side gives it away…
“It’s a postcard. It’s a can cooler – it’s a cool-card TM. Patent pending. Made in USA.”
“Hi. How do you like your card? Sure is hot these days – not like your 20 or so. Give you a call when you get back. This is also your present.”
And what a present it is! I did use it once and it worked great. But now it is too much of a treasured artefact to ever be allowed to leave my vaults, except for the one photo shoot for you lucky readers.
